Today is Day 2 of my super strict diet, following the Almased method, using Almased shakes, religiously, and the recipes I found in the accompanying booklet.

So today I prepared my very first vegetable soup, which is happily bubbling away on the stove.

Stacking is going well:

  1. Stop drinking alcohol – check!
  2. Choose a safe diet and follow it to the smallest detail. – check!

What’s left? Quite a bit.

Exercise of course – today I had decided to do some brisk walking but it’s raining and will continue to rain all day.

Focus – Avoid distractions when working on a project, any project. Particularly work related.

Procrastination – this requires a lot of work…

Sleep – with the reduced calorie diet I am on, it’s hard to fall asleep but not impossible.

Sundays are Columbo days.
