This week, I am going to stack one more “habit” onto my growing stack: EXERCISE.
To recap, I gave up alcohol on 25th June and I started a calorie controlled diet on 5th July.
Humans are clever, yet very lazy animals. By nature, we always look for ways to cut down on physical and mental work. We look for comfort, we look for shortcuts and instant gratification in anything we do.
But there are things that can’t be rushed, whereby instant results aren’t realistically possible.
Diet and exercise are hard exactly for that reason. we need to put in the days, and months, before we can start seeing results. So we postpone, procrastinate, and delay starting, because what difference is one day/week/month going to make?
